Loddon Valley was established by John Campbell’s father in 1950,at Durham Ox, and is now operated by John & Kay Campbell. John has been a registered A.I Technician for 30 years with a wealth of experience. Loddon Valley Stud was one of the first studs to be accredited for Artificial Insemination in Victoria.

Loddon Valley Stud has sold its property at Durham Ox and purchased 40 acres at Lockwood 10kms west of Bendigo. This is an ideal base to operate from in Central Victoria, Australia, close to couriers; to transport fresh chilled semen from the stud efficiently, to all parts of Australia. We welcome clients to ring and make an appointment to come and see our stallions.
We have expanded our Stallion roster with two more exciting stallions, Art Colony a sensational son of Arts Place will serve his first book of mares here this season,and then serve his first Nth American season in 2011 at one of their leading farms Winbak, and return for our 2011 season here. He was a standout performer in his brief juvenile career, his confirmation, temperament and fertility are excellent. Art Colony’s service fee is $3000 plus GST, LFG and there is a multiple booking discount available.

Loddon Valley is delighted to announce the arrival of our new Square Trotter– Conche De Ville to our stud, a very successful racing, siring grandson of the mighty Speedy Crown through his son King Conch Tr3,1:55 $676,285,123 in 2.00 and of course Stars Pride on his distaff side. Conche De Ville is fully proven in Australia already leaving classic winning colts and fillies. He crosses well with daughters of all other sires, as will his daughters.
Our three existing sires Union Guy, Sports Town, Denver Gift, have had very good seasons with their progeny leaving a wide spread of winners.
